First you need to create a public profile. Then you may give a link to your profile. You can create it with Gmail ID, but can not search/ find by gmail id as its referring through a number and not by email.
Sample public profile has url like:
http://www.google.com/s2/profiles/103037...
To add/edit your profile, please follow these steps:
1. Sign in on the Google profiles page.
2. Click Edit profile.
3. Enter your information.
4. Click Save.
