U hv two options. Either to sign up thru ur mobile or u get invited by someone who is already holding a gmail account.
How to get gmail id?

Reply:Go to Google.com, type in Gmail invitations, and see what it comes up with. That's how I got mine, but I already gave out my 15 invites. Hope that helps.
