One person is cheating me. and i want to find from where he is sending me email.as he send email on every alternate dates.i search in google but couldn't find the answer.please tell me i will be very thankful to those who give the answer.he is sending me from his yahoo id to my gmail id.

Reply:Sorry, I didn't understand some of the things you said.. but anyway, below is my answer to what I did understand...
First of all, you can't just trace a person's IP address by his email address. There might be traces of where the might have come from but this can be easily be spoofed. Try viewing the "full source" of the email or try to view the "full header" of the email.
But again, if he's using Yahoo email to send emails to your gmail, you won't really be able to tell what he's IP address.
There is actually some ways of getting his IP address, but it's a very technical thing. I'll show you just one, but I hope you get what I mean...
1) Create a web page that can log a visitor's IP address
2) Send him the link via his email
3) If he click's on your link (you must be very cunning for him/her to click the link) then.. bam.. you get his/her IP address
By the way, what did you mean by cheating you??

This will then display the IP and all server details etc.
u can even block that user by visiting ur block option in option menu..

Reply:Thats pretty much easy. Login into your gmail account and click the email you want to trace the IP for. On the right side top near the Reply button you will see an arrow pointing downwards, click on it and choose "Show Original" voila you will have the Ip that you needed.
